Well… Little Miss Misfit Duck tagged me six days ago and I just now realized it. (What happened to the email I was supposed to get when someone posted a comment on this thing? — Just another question the internet gods and goblins will never answer.)

Ok. So here goes.

I have to post these rules: one, each player starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves. Two, people who are tagged need to write their own blog entry about their eight things and post these rules. Three, at the end of your entry, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names/pseudonyms/blogs. Four, don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog. Ready? Here goes!

Eight facts/habits….geez, only 8?!

1. I am awkwardly shy (until I get to know you) and hate talking to strangers, even if it’s just on the phone.
2. I have almost no concept of time. Some people start stories with “Oh, it was September 12, 1994…”, I start stories with “Let’s see, I was in the sixth grade, so it must have been ‘86 or ‘87…” or “I was working at [insert company] so it must have been between [insert five year period]… Most of the time, I don’t know what day it is without thinking about it and I never know what the date is without looking at a calendar or thinking about it. It is a trait that annoys me about myself.
3. I love both of my children equally, but I think I love one of my dogs more than the other.
4. I am currently wishing that we could move back to Lafayette, but that changes from day to day.
5. I sing really loudly when I’m driving. (I sing horribly.)
6. I can put a cd in my cd-player and listen to it over and over until Jeremy finally gets sick to death of it and takes it out.
7. Jeremy is turning me into a fan of Dilbert and MacGyver.
8. I could eat potatoes with every meal, every day, for the rest of my life and never get tired of them. I am the ‘Bubba‘ of potatoes.

Now I have to tag eight people. Well, I don’t know eight bloggers anymore, so this will have to extend into myspace. Well, here goes…

That’s enough people to bother at once. (Ok, so I ran out of people that I thought might actually respond. Sue me.)

Well, I can never again say that my house has never been egged. Yep, that’s right, the back of my house was egged today… by my own two sons. The little … … hellions decided that it would be fun to… I don’t know, have an egg fight or something on the deck out back. Then they decided to see what would happen when you drizzle egg into the central air unit. You know, that thing with the fan on top that’s spinning at about 100 miles per hour. Well, now they know that it works like a super egg whisk and turns the egg into a frothy white substance and then flings it all over the place, including the back of the house, our already egged deck, the neighbors deck, and the yard. [insert bitter, sarcastic grin here]

Thank GOD they are going to Georgia this weekend.
